Hey all, i hope you have not forgotten about Earth Day 2010. It falls on the 22nd of April which is tmr!!

for those of you who still don't know, in conjunction with Earth Day, there will be a 'No Straw Day' tmr, whereby there won't be any straws sold in the canteen!!

well getting back on track, these are the following hw/hw/hw...lol

One thing's for sure...it's the service learning proj>>
1) create a survey monkey questionare and send it to all your friends and contacts, as well as Ms Ho and Mr Heng, this is so that they know that your grp has completed the task
2) create a plan for the outreach- whether is it at the MRT vicinity; in sch; or in a shopping ctr
3) create a plan for the green rm- in a ppt format if i'm not wrong
4)calculate anyone's (in ur grp) carbon footprint and from there deduce what must be done to reduce it and implement it
*5) most imptly ALL THE ABOVE ARE TO BE POSTED IN THE GGL GRP BY SUN!!!
6) for more info pls refer to the grp

nxt up...

- Bio test this Fri on plant nutrition
- Science ICAS nxt Tue after sch, as for the location, i'm not so sure
- Chem test on experimental Techniques nxt Tue directly after the ICAS quiz

. for HCL students, complete wb chap 12 & 16 by tmr
. finish the ss SBQ & SEQ questions by nxt Mon

...All hw and no Revision makes you a ___...so don't be so preoccupied in completing your hw till you forget abt revising for the exams--- which is in EXACTLY 2 WKS TIME!!!

and tmr is the NAPFTA 5-stations test, be prepared guys, and play soccer after that, haha!!

Hey one and all :)

sry for my 'abstinence' from updating the blog...but pls understand that it was 'cause of the time restrictions i faced over the weekend...

Well before further ado, we'll move on to the long-awaited one...HW!!!

running down the list...

Ms Ho has requested for the service learning survey results as well as the 2 pics taken to be handed up to her tmr

According to aditya, there will be Phy prac test on optics this wed, for more clarification go look for him

Next up is the Bio test this fri on plant nutrition,
But not forgetting the Chem test tmr on Q.A (qualitative analysis)

HCL formal letter-writing this wed so bring ur dictionary (approved ones of course) and copo paper

Enough of tests... now for bio wb>> complete the ex on plant nutrition; human transport (including the specific essay questions found in the ppt slides/notes)

As for Chem prac wb, pls hand it up to her for marking if you have finished at least one of the Q.A expt. As for those who got ZERO for the chromatography expt...you know what to do...and tt includes me haha!!

Phew...now the hw section is completed.

btw im trying to add a music playlist to the blog, so if any of you know how do it pls post it a the tagboard... cause the one which i normally used is scr*wed!!

btw no. 2: this thu is earth day so pls support by donating ur used plastic and paper into the various plastic bags at the back of the class. Remember, the class with the most 'waste' wins a PRIZE!! YAY!!

Hey guys,

pls remember that you and ur grp has to complete the survey by today. meet up with ur members and split into 2 grps. if you do fast then it should be done in 1 hr or less!!

pls refer to the google group for more info and the excel sheet created by Ms Ho. ir you don't have a printer, Ms Ho has already printed a hard copy for each grp so go to her pigeon hole to collect...

Sry guys, I been too busy this weekend so no time to update the blog.(Anyway wth are the other admins?!?!)

SO the hw as follows:
-chem prac bk on the chromatography and experimental techniques expt
- bio prac bk>> fill in the ans to the blanks for the 2 expt that we done on fri last wk

well I think thats all for this weekend, and if you have not done any of the previous hw which is not shown here pls refer to the previous post.

and go study for the cl/hcl exam coming up on wed!!

Remember guys, tmr's a full day(off) so you don't have to come to sch! However, there's Bio make-up lesson tmr, in other words, you have to come to sch!

Reporting time as follow:

7.30am: play soccer (david say one)
8.00am: Eat Mac breakfast provided by Ms Ho @ canteen
8.30am: attend Bio lesson/prac @ classrm/lab

It SHOULD end in abt 1hrs time...so come and bring ur Bio prac bk too!

Now, for the hw update:

All maths hw to be handed up by fri or face deduction in marks~20% of CA...and that E maths ex 7c & 7d is not included in the 'counted' list, so yay?!?

Pls be reminded that the draft survey for the earth competition (compulsory) is to be completed by this sat. The invitation to the google group should have been sent to all ur emails...so go and check it out! For easy reference, it is >>HERE<<>next tue

Chem wb ex 9 on experimental techniques & prac bk expts pg 42-47 due fri

Double the Maths test...double the study(ing)-- A maths test on quad eqns & inequalities /&/ E maths test on practical use of maths...so study Hard & Smart!! btw they're both on fri...lol

Anyway...here's the update on hw

Complete all the maths hw by tmr...OR ELSE you may not be able to get that (tick)!!!
A maths test on quad eqn & inequlities nxt wk / E maths test on prac use of maths nxt wk

For the HCL students, there's another letter-writing to be done by tue

Bio wb on 'nutrition in plants' ; Phy wb on 'kinematics' ; Chem expt on chromatography...remember to paste the strips in the bk, & Chem wb ex 9 on 'experimental techniques'

MISC...there would be no sch on thu due to the full day Mr Low gave
...Pls go vote for the president's challenge and support our class(mates)
...the NAPFA test may be this coming PE lesson, so be prepared!!

...and Do what u need to do...don't do what u don't need to do!
